Consultant Ronald E. Newcomer, NCARB, AIA Mr. Newcomer's primary responsibility is in marketing, consulting and project development. Prior to starting Newcomer Associates, Mr. Newcomer held the position of Marketing Manager and Designer with Brechhill & Helman Construction Co. for eight years. During this time, the Firm of Brechhill and Helman, General Contractors grew from approximately $1,000,000.00 annual volume to approximately $25,000,000.00 annual volume. Mr. Newcomer was responsible for initiating the design/build philosophy that has contributed to the firm's success and is still used today. Mr. Newcomer's career started as a construction laborer during which time he took drafting and construction technology classes in the evenings at Penn State. As Newcomer worked his way up the ladder in the field, he became a carpenter and learned about construction from a field perspective. This led to employment with J.R. Kohler and Associates, an Architectural Firm. Working with Mr. Kohler, he quickly moved in the firm and ran the local office for long periods while the principles of the firm had various international oversea assignments. After additional formal education, continuing education programs, and an ample apprenticeship, Mr. Newcomer fulfilled all of the requirements for architectural registration. The many years of field experience has given Mr. Newcomer the ability to do design projects that are practical, economical, and efficient without aesthetic sacrifice. Mr. Ronald Newcomer is a member of the following professional organizations: - AIA (American Institute of Architects) Currently, Mr. Newcomer hold licenses to practice architecture in 14 states |
